Typeling Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
GOYO Labs (“Typeling”, “we”) provides a translation keyboard and its settings app. This policy explains what data is processed when you use Typeling.
Data we process
- Text you choose to translate: Nearby text is read only after you tap Translate. It is sent over an encrypted connection to our Cloudflare Worker and Anthropic for real-time translation. Typeling does not store the source text or translation in its usage database or application logs. Under Anthropic's standard API retention, API inputs and outputs are automatically deleted within 30 days, subject to longer retention for usage-policy enforcement, legal requirements, or a different contractual setting.
- Pseudonymous app identifier: The app creates a random installation identifier protected by platform storage. Our server derives a hashed identifier to enforce free usage, credits, rate limits, fraud prevention, and purchase ownership. We do not use an advertising ID as the Typeling account identity.
- Usage and transaction records: We keep content-free counters, credit ledger entries, product identifiers, hashed purchase tokens or transaction identifiers, and refund status to provide purchases and prevent duplicate grants through Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Security signals: Apple App Attest and DeviceCheck or Google Play Integrity signals are processed to verify the app, device, license, and request. Attestation and integrity tokens are not stored in our usage ledger.
- Advertising data: Where ads are enabled, they are shown only in the settings app after the applicable consent flow. Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, advertising ID, app set ID, and related device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. There are no ads inside the keyboard. The current iOS release does not request ads.
Sensitive fields
Translation and nearby-text reading are disabled in password, PIN, and other sensitive input fields. Typeling does not automatically poll the clipboard or continuously read text fields.
How we use and share data
We use data only to provide translation, manage free usage and credits, verify purchases, prevent abuse, operate ads where enabled and consented, and maintain service security. Translation text is sent to Cloudflare and Anthropic for these purposes. Apple, Google Play, and Google Mobile Ads process applicable purchase, security, or advertising data under their own terms. We do not sell translation text or personal data.
Retention
Translation text is not persisted in Typeling's database or content logs. Anthropic's standard API retention automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, with the exceptions described above. Pseudonymous usage, credit, purchase, refund, and security records are retained as needed to operate the service, prevent duplicate grants and abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve transactions.
Your choices
You can stop text processing by not using Translate, disable Typeling in iOS or Android keyboard settings, change advertising consent through Privacy options where available, and manage the platform advertising identifier in device settings. Typeling does not create a named user account. Because server records are pseudonymous, we may need an app-generated identifier and verification to locate a record. Some records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, transaction integrity, or legal obligations.
Children
Typeling is a general-audience utility and is not specifically directed to children. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required by applicable law.
Security and international processing
Network requests use HTTPS. Processing may occur in countries where our infrastructure and service providers operate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests: hi.dragon.026@gmail.com.
